You might have noticed over the past few months that East Midlands Trains are refurbishing their first class lounges. We are thrilled to announce that Sloane & Sons were selected to provide the furniture for this new and exciting makeover.
East Midlands Trains – A New Look
Over the past year, East Midlands Trains have invested over £1.5 million into improving their stations. We got a call asking to help. We have been working with East Midlands Trains to refurbish all of the first class lounges between Kettering and Sheffield. Commuters will be travelling in more style than ever before due to these new improvements. The final station should be completed by the end of 2014.
One of the first train stations we helped refurbish was the Kettering station. Their first class lounge witnessed a £30,000 makeover. It now features some of our most comfortable cream, microfiber tub chairs. Alongside the new furniture, this lounge saw the introduction of several other new features. New carpets, decorative artwork, free WiFi and complimentary food and drinks have been included, especially exciting if you’re looking for these amenities. The station has a brand new look that customers are loving. Here at Sloane & Sons we are so proud to have worked in partnership with EMT.
